He became Manchester United's youngest goalscorer(17 years and 355 days, now the club's second youngest goalscorer after Federico Macheda) when he scored his first senior goal for the club in what was his Premier League debut, a 5-0 win over Stoke City on 15 November 2008. In all, he scored 29 goals in 142 appearances for the Red Devils, also winning 6 trophies during his six-year stay with the club.
At Arsenal, he scored 32 goals in 126 games, also winning two trophies between September 2014 to June 2019.
Born to Ghanaian parents, he represented England at various youth levels(U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21) and was a member of the Young Lions squad who finished runners-up at the 2009 European U-19 Championship, losing 2-0 to host Ukraine in the Final. Since making his senior England debut in March 2011, he has scored 16 goals in 42 caps for the Three Lions, also representing the country at UEFA Euro 2012 , the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups.
