OZIL'S MASTERCLASS

On This Day In 2018, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice in two minutes(both goals where assisted by Ozil) as Arsenal beat Leicester City 3-1 at the Emirates. Mesut Ozil's 45th minute strike was his 30th league goal for Arsenal, making him the highest scoring German in English Premier League history. The then 30-year-old broke Jürgen Klinsmann's record of 29 goals for Tottenham Hotspur. This was Arsenal's 10th consecutive win in a row. It was also the first time since October 2007 that the Gunners have recorded such a sequence of results while, deliciously for them, they leap-frogged Tottenham Hotspur on goal difference.
