EPL ROUND-UP: WOLVERHAMTON WANDERERS VS SOUTHAMPTON

Wolverhampton Wanderers have won their last three games in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet each time. They last won four in a row in April 2018.

Southampton have won three of their four Premier League meetings with Wolves (Lost 1). All four meetings between the two sides in the competition have been won by a margin of two or more goals.

Southampton have lost their last three Premier League games, last losing four in a row in April 2018. However, Saints have won a league-high 86 per cent of their Premier League points on the road this season (6/7).

Wolverhampton Wanderers have lost just one of their last 12 home league games (Won 7, Draw 4), losing 2-5 against Chelsea last month.

  Onazi has left  FK Zalgiris Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has left FK Zalgiris Vilnius six months after signing for the Lithuanian club. Onazi joined Zalgiris Vilnius in February after mutually terminating his contract with Danish Superliga side SönderjyskE. However, six months after signing the one-year deal, he has parted ways with The Green-Whites. Media reports gathered that it was a mutual agreement between the two parties. The 28-year-old who hasn't played for the Super Eagles since 2018 made 26 appearances in all competitions for the club, including four in the Champions League qualifiers, where he scored a goal in the first round qualifying. Onazi also scored two times and provided one assist in 19 league games for the side.

Happy Birthday to former Tottenham Hotspur, AS Monaco, Swindon Town and Chelsea Midfielder Glenn Hoddle who turns 62 today. He scored 110 goals in 490 games for Spurs between 1975 to 1987, winning four trophies, including the 1983/1984 UEFA Cup. At international level, he scored 8 goals in 53 caps for England and also represented the Three Lions at four different tournaments(1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cup, 1980 and 1988 European Championship). In June 1993, Hoddle became player-manager of Chelsea (he retired from the playing side in 1995), going on to finished as runners-up at 1993/1994 FA Cup final where Chelsea lost 0-4 to eventual winners Manchester United. As England manager, Hoddle reached the 1998 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 where the Three Lions lost 4-3 on penalties to Argentina(regulation time ended 2-2).
