Manchester United have named their youngest ever starting XI for a Premier League match against Liverpool, with a combined average age of just 25 years and 38 days.


Marcos Rojo replacing Axel Tuanzebe means Manchester United's starting XI is now 25 years and 292 days, their youngest against Liverpool since October 1996 (25 years,283 days).


11 of Marcus Rashford's 31 Premier League goals have come against 'big six' opponents (35%), with that his third strike against LIverpool in the competition.



No defender has provided more Premier League assists since the start of last season than Andrew Robertson (14, level with Trent Alexander-Arnold).


This is the first time an English player has scored for both sides in a Premier League meeting between Man Utd and Liverpool since November 2001 (Michael Owen and David Beckham).


No side has dropped more points from winning positions in the Premier League this season than Manchester United (8, level with Aston Villa).


Ole Gunnar Solskjær is the only manager Jürgen Klopp has faced more than once in the Premier League and failed to beat (Played 2, Won 0, Draw 2).


Manchester United registered their second lowest possession figure in a Premier League home game since 2003-04, second only to a 32.06% figure also against Liverpool in March 2018.

  Onazi has left  FK Zalgiris Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has left FK Zalgiris Vilnius six months after signing for the Lithuanian club. Onazi joined Zalgiris Vilnius in February after mutually terminating his contract with Danish Superliga side SönderjyskE. However, six months after signing the one-year deal, he has parted ways with The Green-Whites. Media reports gathered that it was a mutual agreement between the two parties. The 28-year-old who hasn't played for the Super Eagles since 2018 made 26 appearances in all competitions for the club, including four in the Champions League qualifiers, where he scored a goal in the first round qualifying. Onazi also scored two times and provided one assist in 19 league games for the side.

Happy Birthday to former Tottenham Hotspur, AS Monaco, Swindon Town and Chelsea Midfielder Glenn Hoddle who turns 62 today. He scored 110 goals in 490 games for Spurs between 1975 to 1987, winning four trophies, including the 1983/1984 UEFA Cup. At international level, he scored 8 goals in 53 caps for England and also represented the Three Lions at four different tournaments(1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cup, 1980 and 1988 European Championship). In June 1993, Hoddle became player-manager of Chelsea (he retired from the playing side in 1995), going on to finished as runners-up at 1993/1994 FA Cup final where Chelsea lost 0-4 to eventual winners Manchester United. As England manager, Hoddle reached the 1998 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 where the Three Lions lost 4-3 on penalties to Argentina(regulation time ended 2-2).
