 Happy Birthday to former AFC Wimbledon, Crystal Palace, Cardiff City, West Ham,Watford and Stevenage midfielder Joel Joshua Fredrick Melvin McAnuff who turns 36 today. He currently plays for English non-league side Leyton Orient.
 Happy Birthday to former Chicago Fire, US Boulogne, Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact and FC Dallas defender Bakary Soumare (now retired) who turns 32 today. 

Happy Birthday to former Skoda Xanthi, POAK, Fiorentina, Celta Vigo, Perugia and Torino striker Zisis Vryzas (now retired) who turns 44 today. 

 Happy Birthday to former Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Real Zaragoza Left-back Andreas Brehme who turns 57 today. He is mostly remembered for scoring the winner for Germany during the 1990 World Cup final against Argentina.  

 Happy Birthday to Arminia Bielefeld defender Florian Dick who turns 33 today.

At 17 years and 89 days old, Ethan Ampadu is now the second youngest Chelsea player to make an appearance in the Premier League after Jody Steven Morris (vs Middlesbrough on 4 February 1996 at the age of 17years 43 days). Ampadu came up as an 80th-minute substitute for Andreas Christensen in a 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town.

ONAZI QUITS LUTHANIAN CLUB

  Onazi has left  FK Zalgiris Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has left FK Zalgiris Vilnius six months after signing for the Lithuanian club. Onazi joined Zalgiris Vilnius in February after mutually terminating his contract with Danish Superliga side SönderjyskE. However, six months after signing the one-year deal, he has parted ways with The Green-Whites. Media reports gathered that it was a mutual agreement between the two parties. The 28-year-old who hasn't played for the Super Eagles since 2018 made 26 appearances in all competitions for the club, including four in the Champions League qualifiers, where he scored a goal in the first round qualifying. Onazi also scored two times and provided one assist in 19 league games for the side.

Happy Birthday to former Tottenham Hotspur, AS Monaco, Swindon Town and Chelsea Midfielder Glenn Hoddle who turns 62 today. He scored 110 goals in 490 games for Spurs between 1975 to 1987, winning four trophies, including the 1983/1984 UEFA Cup. At international level, he scored 8 goals in 53 caps for England and also represented the Three Lions at four different tournaments(1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cup, 1980 and 1988 European Championship). In June 1993, Hoddle became player-manager of Chelsea (he retired from the playing side in 1995), going on to finished as runners-up at 1993/1994 FA Cup final where Chelsea lost 0-4 to eventual winners Manchester United. As England manager, Hoddle reached the 1998 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 where the Three Lions lost 4-3 on penalties to Argentina(regulation time ended 2-2).
